Watch carefully and you will see the entire engine slide on the frame as it goes into reverse . the old head that started it after the other guy couldn't walks away like a total Boss after he gets it started hhaha
Me and that tractor wouldn't have a very long relationship if it started like that normally. Which I'm guessing it doesn't. Neat old tractor.
I remember seeing an Avery tractor at a steam threshers show many years ago that was taller than this one, somewhere I have a picture of it with my dad who was 6' tall standing in front of a rear wheel and there was probably another foot or so above his head so it was quite a beast, think the owner had to use a ladder to put antifreeze in the radiator,I believe it was a 1922 model but may be wrong,this was 45+ years ago.
